Our new house was finally blessed last Sunday and we had a great time entertaining guests — both family and friends. My dad rented a videoke machine and so all those who love to sing stayed until late at night, taking turns belching out their favorite tunes.
There were also lots of food, both prepared by my mom and my boyfriend’s mom. But we underestimated the number of guests so we had to buy some roasted chicken and some rice cakes just to have something to give all the late comers.
After the party, the once pristine and clean house (which took us the whole of Saturday to clean and prepare) now looks like it has been stayed by dozens of people in a week’s time. But since we were all very tired, after all of the guests have left, we just went straight to bed and just cleaned up early in the morning of the following day.
