I was finally able to buy a 12-meter long lan cable and a coupler. The coupler I used as the connecting unit between my Internet modem cable and the new lan cable for my laptop. This is a cheaper solution to a router. Now I can surf the web on my laptop wherever I want inside my house.
Most people would think this is just a waste of cable because I can just connect a router so I can go wireless. Well, I’m not interested in going wireless and I’ve contacted my ISP and was told that it is not possible to use a router for my connection. Now I’m not sure if that’s true and I’m not that technically knowledgeable in these things so I opted for the easier alternative. And so far, it works perfectly for me
